Åsa Polfjärd

Åsa Polfjärd is a Swedish/Korean interdisciplinary visual artist working thematically around belonging and othering. She explores how groups exist side by side — how they interweave and overlap, yet without fully merging. Her creative process lets each subject determine its ideal form, whether through installations, printmaking, painting or text. At the core of her practice lies an intrinsic desire to communicate and connect with her audience.

Polfjärd has studied at Oslo National Academy of the Arts (BA), Konstfack University of Arts and Grafikskolan.
