Mansi Kashatria is a researcher-writer based between Sweden and India. An Interdisciplinary researcher interested in historical, global and decolonial structures underlying contemporary art and its institutions. Passionate and curious where curation, culture, and the political intersect. Growing up in a small border town of Punjab/Himachal Pradesh in India, next to the river Satluj, she describes her relationship with nationalism, historical narratives, and cultural essentialism as rather disjointed and therefore critical. All of which have made her love for Sufi and Punjabi literature grow, nonetheless.
