Nanna Li was born in China. She moved to Luleå at age three. She left for the UK at eighteen and spent over ten years there. She returned to Sweden in 2017. Nanna has worked in illustration, comics, and game development and is now finishing her MFA in Visual Communication at Konstfack.
Nanna's recent project Hej vännen reflects on embodiment, self-image, and belonging through fragments of text, image, and storytelling. Moving between the personal and the collective, the project explores what it means to become visible within structures that often lack language for lived experience, while resisting the pressure to make oneself fully readable.
