筒 | tsu-tsu is a Japanese documentary actor. Trained in Japanese classical dance from the age of six, he developed a practice called “Documentary Acting,” rooted in the concept of tsutsu (筒, “hollow vessel”), a deep research and embodiment of real individuals. He is the representative of 6okken, an artist-run residency near Lake Kawaguchi, Japan. He is currently in residence at IASPIS Stockholm, with upcoming engagements including an ACC New York fellowship (2026).
